• The OEM fuel filter was designed to provide adequate flow and filtration at the stock horsepower level, but simply does not have enough surface area to hold the dirt when the engine is modified and fuel flow is increased. Exceeding the flow limit of the stock filter causes it to get dirty more quickly, resulting in a restriction that hurts performance. BDs Remote Fuel Filter Kit features additional media surface that holds the dirt and flows enough fuel to support 600 horsepower. At the same time, it is incredibly effective at filtration, stopping particles down to two microns nominal, five microns absolute. The Remote Fuel Filter Kit mounts to the frame rail before the stock fuel filter, relegating it to water separation duty. With the BD Remote Fuel Filter Kit, you’ll get better filtration, better flow, and lengthened fuel filter change intervals.
