After a season of testing, we are proud to introduce the most well thought out and functional Frunk Mount Ice Tank available for the 2017+ R8 platform and perfectly captures the duality of street usage and race day performance. Made in house and fully TIG welded, our tank system comes in at a whopping 5 gallons and paired with a high flow PWM controlled water pump capable of a peak flow of 220l/min @ 0.55bar, this tank is capable of keeping your intercoolers and intake temps as low as it gets during a pass.

We also took the time to create a minimally intrusive mounting solution that is incredibly clean when complete, easy to install AND revert to stock, and overly robust so you can take corners with confidence knowing your tank is securely mounted. The tank design, while large, still allows for full access to the battery and still allows room for storage and transport of luggage or other vital goods that may be necessary on a long trip or at the track.

The fill neck and 1/8 turn cap were designed from the ground up specifically for this application and ease of use for owners while being plenty large to add large volumes of ice. This unique feature of the tank sets things off aesthetically with CNC engraved R8 and Rampage Logos.

Each tank also includes the necessary fittings and valve for a 1/4 turn drain solution that exits under the car for easy track-side flushes into a drain pan between rounds of competition.

The tanks come complete with premium wire harness, bulkhead fittings, pre-made hoses to connect the tank to the bulkhead, and optional 20 feet of 3/4″ hose and fittings for ease of install.CWA400 Pump is also optional at checkout.

*Current included CWA400 Pumps can be used in PWM via Motec or used with an aftermarket controller on stock ecu. Aftermarket pump controllers can also be configured depending on one’s specific needs.
