The Turbosmart boost gauge is the perfect way to show what boost your car is producing without the expense of a digital dash display.
Installation is a straightforward concept for most vehicles, Take a vaccuum hose from your inlet manifold, and run to the back of the gauge. The gauge handily mounts in the commonly used 52mm hole, a specific gauge pod for your vehicle where available.
This gauge also features a backlight. This requires a 12v power source. Typically taken from either the vehicles lights or stereo circuit.

Having a boost gauge is great from a diagnostic and tuning perspective. Knowing what boost your engine is making is an important step of diagnosing any potential turbo or boost system faults. On standalone and modern systems the ECU will know what boost the engine is making, but without a dash display or a laptop plugged in, it can be hard to output that information. By using a vacuum reference, you are able to get a true reading of boost (or Vaccuum) level of the system.
